Of course, if I rode home yesterday — it is a given that I rode back in today. It was down right chilly when I started out. I wore my long tights and wind shirt along with long fingered gloves (my “lobster” gloves) and toe covers. It was just right. I expected to strip it all off part way through the ride as the morning warmed up but that did not happen. The temperature started out in the low 50s and probably got into the low 60s by the time I arrived at work.

I didn’t feel like I was in a hurry, so I stopped to take Scooter’s picture with some ‘lawn ornaments’ in a newly developed area called Anthem.

Also took a picture of the ‘native’ Prairie Dog — not a favorite of mine, but certainly a critter I see plenty of as I ride past dry grasslands.

It feels great to still be riding! Makes a day at work much more enjoyable when it starts with a two hour, two-wheeled commute.
